Hey guys,

I have a question reguarding Digital Downloads and streaming to the PS3. I have two media servers on my PS3:

Windows Media Server

TVersity Media Server

I have the Windows one because it was already on my computer. I have been buying DVD's and Blu-Ray's with Digital Copies. I have downloaded two digital copies onto Windows Media Player. I have no problem streaming them to my X-Box 360. Though when I try to stream them from Windows Media Server on to my PS3 I get a message "Unsupported Data" and can not stream. I went online and read on the TVersity website that they have the best media server and have a program set up to download just for the PS3. I downloaded it and got everything up and running. I added the digital copies to my TVersity file and than tried to stream them onto my PS3. I found the file on my PS3 fine and when I clicked to play it TVersity says that it can not locate the file and make sure its not deleted. The file is fine and has not been deleted. I than clicked on the file in TVersity to play it and it says that it may be missing a Flash Player or something.

After this my wife added "Adult Video Content" into TVersity and it streamed fine to the PS3. Anyone know why I can stream it fine to my 360 but not my PS3? Anything I can do? I even went into the TVersity settings in notepad and switched it from "MPEG16" to "MPEG2" under the Playstation 3 line. I just want to get this setup for streaming for my wife (I have a PS3 in the bedroom) because she just had a baby and wants to watch Juno and other movies withoot having to get up (she's very lazy). Any help to get Digital Downloads would be much appreciated!!!!

I am not going to use any stats or anyting of that sort. I was pondering who was going to win today at work. My first choice was Memphis, because I was up the night before watching Tenessee and that other team that looked like they had a dude playing for them. I was upset because I purchased a hi-def TV to watch Candace Parker. She was wearing long sleeves do to an injury. I was mad, I was hoping I could see what color her sports bra was with my hi-def tv. So since I have a thing for Parker, I decided that Memphis should win since she goes to school in the same state. Than I realized that if Memphis was so great, why didn't Parker go there? Also, the two schools for all I know could be rivals. Than I got to thinking about Kansas, they are further away and Superman grew up there. So I am going for Kansas and I'm pretty sure Clark is too!!

The Playstation 3 computer home entertainment system is said to be the most versatile gaming console on the market. You can do the following:

-Watch Blu Ray movies

-Play games

-Surf the internet (Wii and 360 can not do)

-Stream video, pictures, and music from your PC and copy (Wii can not do and 360 can only stream) it to the PS3

-Comes with a play and charge kit (Xbox and Wii you need to by chargers seperatley)

-Do not have to pay for online service, free with any DSL or High Speed connection (360 you need to pay $49.99/yr. Wii is free)

Also, keep in mind that when the PS2 was released it was the cheapest DVD player on the market. Its just a strategey to help (and it did) win the format war.

Because it is an Action-Adventure game and not a full fledged RPG. Here, even Gamespot agrees, read the quote on top in this link. If you are too lazy to read it here it is:

"Okami's visual design instantly stands out, but it turns out to just be one of many inspired aspects of this impressive action adventure game."

And Gamespots official clasification: Fantasy Action Adventure

So in an even shorter response would just have been since the day it was released it was considered an Adventure game

you just owned yourself. Do you even know what an Adventure game is? Action Adventure is entirely different from the Adventure genre.

When I (and many console gamers) speak of Adventure games,I think of games like Zelda, Okami, and Beyond Good and Evil. Though the only one that will qualify in your mind would probably be Beyond Good and Evil.I don't think of a near dead genre with games like Indigo Prophecey and Hotel Dusk. The term Action/Adventure is thrown out to a broad range of games. So I wanted to pick one action game, and a game with an epic adventure. Bottom line, Okami is more of an adventure, than an all out action game. Many people like adventure stories, but do not like popping in a game and reading and trying to solvemundane puzzles. I do understand your point, though we disagree on the terms definition.

This question is too vague. People overall are going to say World of Warcraft due to the multi-player aspect wich adds much, much more value to a game. So since I can't choose.....

FPS -Timesplitters 2 (PS2)

Action - Metal Gear Solid 2 (PS2)

Adventure - Okami (PS2)

Platformer - Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal (PS2)

Strategy - Phantom Dust (X-Box)

Multi-Player - Halo 2 (X-Box)

when is Okami an adventure game?

Tough call, Free Radical Design has a great portfolio, as does Infinity Ward, i really doubt either game will suck, i think both games will be 9/10 rated games.

COD4 looks really intense from what ive seen, ive not seen much of Haze other than screens so its hard to compare.

Well said, though I would have to say Haze. Free Radical is an awesome developer and I have enjoyed all there games. If Haze has challenges or Arcade modes like Timesplitters I am going to enjoy this game way more than Resistance.

I thought that we get a 1 year warranty with our consoles incase they break ! :roll:Zephyr_Elite

Yes, Microsoft just recentley adjusted that to compete with Nintendo and Sony. Before it was only a 90 day warranty. You need to keep in mind that some govnerment agencey went after Microsoft for the "Red Light" dilema, though it was not in the U.S.and I cant recall where it was, there was an article about it here a few months ago. I would not join a class action lawsuit, cause in the end if you do win anything it gets divided up between everybody and than they take the lawyer fees out and you get a whopping $7.96 back. Only real winners in a big Class Action Suit are lawyers.
