I Would Die for You

A tear comes to my eye to see you on that hospital bed, I Would Die for You

With your eyes closed just laying there not moving your head, I Would Die for You

I stare into your eyes hoping you would awake, I Would Die for You

But you don’t you just lay there not awake, I Would Die for You

I would change places with you in a heart beat, I Would Die for You

Even if you don’t have one, I Would Die for You

If I could have the chance to go back in time, I Would Die for You

I would have been the one there, I Would Die for You

But I don’t have that power, I Would Die for You

The power to jump back time, I Would Die for You

But if there was a way, I Would Die for You

This would all go astray, I Would Die for You

Tears flow like a fountain down my face, I Would Die for You

I wish they would go away, I Would Die for You

But seeing you there, I Would Die for You

Makes me want to cry, I Would Die for You

But you are in heaven, I Would Die for You

I will see again someday, I Would Die for You

But until then, I Would Die for You

I will count the days, I Would Die for You
