First off, I don't care what genre of movies of you like, you NEED to see this and more importantly, *do not leave early*. Don't let the harsh language, gore, or stereotype of what alien movies should be scare you off. The movie is much deeper than some cheesy scifi flick, and it has the potential to be on the same level as the first Star Wars trilogy, it is that epic. Everything was executed flawlessly. The acting, the story, the CGI, everything was made to be believable and it succeeded. Sharlto Copely delievered an amazing performance for his first ever movie role. His plight made the viewer feel his pain and anguish, and his interaction with the Prawns was outstanding. I could go on and on, verging on the edge of spoilers, but I will not give any more away. You need to go in with an open mind, and not dwell on the little flaws mentioned earlier, just focus on the story and you will love it. The action is not bad too 
