[QUOTE="Deadlazy"]What good is the hardware without performance as it relates to games? Reliability is not the only factor. The TC asked which hardware is best, not most reliable. The 360 can run better games then the Wii. The hardware and the games are in bed together. All this is aside from the fact that the conduct on this board does not seem to include staying on topic; even though I believe I was on topic by mentioning games.

I would suggest reading the poll question and the content of the TC's message, not just the title.
We are talking about "durability, low failure rate, and long lasting ability" not "which has the best games and hardware power."
So no, you were not on-topic.
Bull, just bull. Not to mention that is an extremely redundant question.
[QUOTE="Deadlazy"][QUOTE="wiiguyftw"]well i agree with your post my friend.... this holiday with the price drop, new interface, and especially the games you just cant go wrong with owning a 360 this holiday.... not to mention all the other previously released games for the 360 that are also stellar... i think any "fanboy" is content with a console when absolutly nothing can go wrong (except if there were tons of delays *COUGH SONY COUGH*)FragTycoon
I wonder how the gaming industry will fare this holiday season. At the moment it's looking bleak.
last I checked it was -777...
I turned it off after that :(
Yep. it closed at -777, the largest single day drop in the history of the market. i don't think the nail in the coffin will come from MS or Sony, or Ninty, any of them. The nail in the coffin will come from a credit freeze and then we will all be layed to restand nobody will care about who whins the system war anymore.
So no, the 360 is not putting the final nail in the coffin of the ps3.
[QUOTE="Deadlazy"][QUOTE="BoD_GOA_French"][QUOTE="Deadlazy"][QUOTE="BoD_GOA_French"]anyone who votes for the 360 is a blind fanboy. Its between the PS3 and Wii for the most reliable hardware.inertk
Sure the Wii hardware is reliable, it's a generation out of date and old tech tends to be more refined. Yes, the Wiimore is cool, but its not new tech. The Wiimote is a novel application of tech, but not new.
it sucks that the 360 had the RROD problem, but that doesn't negate its games. I personally prefer the ps3 over the 360, but it has nothing to do with RROD. Up to this point I have played my ps3 the most, though.
The the TC asked which HARDWARE is more reliable, not which one has better GAMES.
Despite that games are always relevant. Besides, I clearly stated the hardware I prefer the most and why I don't like the hardware I find lacking. All I said was that the hardware is not the only factor; get over it.
In a thread about which console has the best hardware - Hardware IS the only factor that needs to be considered.
