How did u ppl spend your Halloween? Tonz of candy? Tonz of kids? Tonz of madness, I bet.
Well, my Halloween dident pan out the way I wanted it to...*sigh* Depressing...
I had my stuff ready...The hat, father's suit coat, tie, shirt, boots and cigar. I sent my "friend" 2 text msg's in the morning, but no reply. I called once in the afternoon, but no anwser, called around 6 the time she wanted me to call, but no answer, called about 7 and no answer...heck, she hasent even called back!! wtf!! and it's been 2 days!!
I sent the nite holed up in my room reading the last 200 pages of my Trek book and later sanding and filing my metal art project. Felt sad and depressed late at nite.
The next morning, went to art metals feeling really depressed and sad. I tried to make myself feel better by drinking big red, giving candy to an older friend, lora. her kids live 2 1/2-3 hrs away, and she drove all nite to and from where they live. i also gave her a hug, but still felt bad. the sadness made it really had to concencrate in that class...and that's a bad thing since, it was my turn to sawder my project and there is a ton of fire involved. luckly, the teach helped me 90% of the way with the cutting of the sawder, dipping the sawder in the flamable handyflux, putting the sawder on the pieces, heating them up for me...it wasent until i got 2 text mgs from some other friends, that the sadness went away when i was sanding the project and working on wax rings.
I'm better now...:)
Then later that nite, my friend, Hannah, sent me urgent txt-mgs that she needs a power point project done, b/c her partner dident showup, he never called, etc...then her teach, gave her an extra day to get it done...but she doesnt know how to use the fake powerpoint on her laptop, so she sends me the work...I leave youth group early to get it done for her. I do the work, 8 slides, says shes uber greatful, blah, blah, blah, took less than an hr..now shes coming to town to visit & we can go to chilies. See how that goes...

The 1st and 2nd days of Nov. are the Souls and Saints Days...now in Mex, the lower classes take literterly to the graves of the decessed and go nuts with the decortations. First they visit the graves of the loved ones and decorate the grave. They clean it, and put up a ton of flowers, mementos, food, and basicly have a pinic in the graveyard with food, games, bbq's storys, etc with the ppl there all nite long...o.0.
In thier houses, giant memorials are erected of the dead. the living usually leave the fav. food of the person [mole, enchildadas, pan de muerto, sodas, fruits, etc], tonz of flowers, fav. things the person liked, like games, if they played an musical instruments, clothes, lil skeletons all over the place, the Mexican flag, fav. music, playing, a huge pic of the dead person, and candles. the living usually leave all the food out till it spoils...doesnt matter if roachs crawel on it...it's gonna be there!!! o.0
now in my area...many of the ppl dont do that!!! heck noo!!! we usually just visit the grave of the dead, leave flowers, pray, then leave.
My school's libary, some alters are showing...one for dead ex-tejano superstar, Selena, and some other ppl. Nobody cares...

Went to visit grandpas grave today...made him a wreath...actully it was just a wreath mother made a million years ago with flowers and bright orange, and brown, all i put was fake corn, and turkey stickers...the man died b4 I was born.
