u_u the senior GRAPHIC ARTIST got involved and omg it was going horribly. i really dropped the torpedo on this --- or would have seemed. i don't remember what she said, it was this big elaborate scheme and something about the machines.the entire time he was making faces, looking around, and chanting "I DON'T WANT IT!", "I DON'T WANT IT!" he said a few times all because "IT'S NOT WHAT I WANTED!" over and over while the boss was jabbering on and on about "not losing money", "work done", "this what you paid for" and he'd respond "I DON'T WANT IT!" with this child like voice then the boss would yell back "this is what you paid for!"

him: I'M TAKING MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!

boss: THIS IS WHAT YOU PAID FOR!

him: IT'S NOT WHAT I WANTED!

boss: THIS IS WORK DONE!

him: NOT WHAT I WANTED! NEVER MIND

boss: YOU PAID FOR IT, IT'S YOURS

him: I SAID, IT'S NOT WHAT I WANTED!

boss: IT'S YOURS NOW! I DON'T WANT TO LOSE MONEY FOR WORK DONE.

etc. x_x

as he was about to leave, someone calls and i pretend it's guy from one of the other departments saying something about the machines aren't working, so now there is time for any changes. so i take the boss into another room and tell her this story. she goes along with it and we finally win him over.

where i dropped the torpedo: when i emailed him on friday, he said "he liked it, but to add 5K and the date" right before i went on vacation. when i came back on sunday, i read the email, but he said he wanted it in color now and to know the pricing. since, i wasn't sure what to charge him, i waited till monday to talk to the boss about pricing and such.she said it was to late to change the logo because there about to be printed (lie)so i wouldn't't have to go back and redo anything. he was making such a fuss that i no other choice but to give in.we finally agreed to change the font, keep in original black, add the rest of the info, and no color. i redid the logo with 3 different fonts and emailed him earlier. he picked which one he wanted and now everything is done.

all of this could have been avoided if i would have done those 3 choices yesterday and charged him today. except i didn't think about it.the color logo would have costed an arm and a leg, but thats how it goes. he got what he wanted & there's no use going back and worrying about it. politics in the work force. giving in to save yourself later on because you don't know if that costumer will bad mouth you and you could develop a bad rep and not know about it.

back to the telephones for me. u_u

it would have been nice if Worf came and kicked this guy or ifi yelled "BEAM ME UP!!" onmy combage or the walkie talkie to safety on the enterprise instead of dealing with that guy.
