Santa Spot is gearing up right now to go deliver the Christmas gifts wif the real Santa! He has on his widdle hat and is licking up hot chocolate. Hopefully, he won't get the urge to go and leave an extra present in Santa's gift bag. :?
It is going to be a warm Christmas day tomorrow in my home town. The weatherman predicted 80 degree weather, which is unusual because this time of year, the weather is chilly with temperatures in the 40s-50s. I do not mind the warm weather, in fact, I don't care. I get to wear shorts tomorrow and open gifts that my aunt shooed me away from. Yes, I was hovering around her mountain of gifts, when she saw me, and ran me away! lol. Are those fireworks I hear outside? Yes, the ppl in my area are playing with those things, and it sounds like bomb went off out side..which reminds..buy tonz of fireworks, when my younger cousin comes down. I am such a pyro when it comes to these things. *sigh* one 4th of July, some friends and myself had our own bondfire..but is a diffrent story! Have you guys had any partys yet? My family had a Posada last nite. A Posada is gathering of ppl singing and praying the rosary in spanish held at night. A pray and party kind of thing. The church folks came over and we all sang & prayed for 2 hours. The everyone gathered around the table and gorged on cookies, cakes, hot coco, sodas, sandwiches, and candy. It was great. My work schedule keeps me from going out, but this made up for that. ENJOY THE ART :D
Tomorrow, I will blog about traditional Mexican Christmas foods, such as, cookies, & tamales. :D Stay tuned! Note: to all visitors..post at the blog below about the Santa Spot cat wish list. just go along with it. :)
