such a beautiful day...

the sun is shining, the birds are screaming, my backyard smells of oranges, its warm outside and the sky is soft blue color today. i could have gone to out for a picnic, but i had to do some cleaning. its a lazy tuesday, my eyes heavy with sleep, the sun is almost setting, & the house is silent. my relatives are visiting, & they took my grandma out of town for a few days to visit some other relatives in other parts of the state. i went outside to take some clothes off the clothes wire and noticed the neighbors have a bountiful harvest oranges in their backyard! wow...they may have a tiny backyard, but it's filled with 4..count it 4 citrus trees! YUMMY. i looked up & saw a tall tree with 2 ripe oranges almost on my side! the tree is located next to the fence, and the branch is almost tipping near the barbed wire...homer simpson drool. *must "borrow" oranges* ever sense, i plucked my own tree dry, it has not produced any more fruit! ARH! the grapefruit and pecan trees keep raining crap every day. but NO oranges. i'm not sure if they have realized wht is going back there..2 trees are the kiss of death wild oranges, and the other 2 are the sweet juicy ones. catch: the neighbor is a crippled dude in a wheel chair, he lives w/his dad, 2 kids, & wife.. that moved in about a year ago. the last owner (another family) did not have trees yet, because they were still young. before that, another family--no trees yet & finally before all of that, was an old lady who only had the wild trees. i haven't the slightest idea as to when the trees poped up. my uncle owns the house their renting..so i am entitled to a prize every now and then. no worries..2 fruits from a tree that has plenty more won't hurt any one. besides, there is another fresh fruit tree that is closer to ground that is bursting at the seams w/fruit. :).
