a talent show sprang from nowhere....right in the middle of a gov test! d'oh
i had no idea the cheerleaders were going to perform yesterday and i thought the talent show was a month away.
i get a call from one of the girls (dident answer the phone b/c of the test) around 10:30 or so in the middle of a gov test and later a voice msg telling me the cheerleaders are going to perform around 11 & i need to get the mustang suit. now mind i dident bring a change of clothes and was dressed to impress on thursday. i ran across the campus to get to the student center as fast as possible.
i explained to them i had no idea about a performance, no change of clothes, and not willing to get my nice duds messy from a stinky costume. and of course "lets call someone to lend you clothes..." one of them suggests. someone pretend to call the sponsor. then i suggested just to buy some pe clothes from the book store since the bs and the sc are super close to each other. $40 on pe clothes. u_u i get dressed and tell "dana" & "janice" to get the mustang suit for me. of course. natually they made up excuses and dident want to help. i went and got my self because if you want some done, do it yourself! X#

i was freaking out and going nuts about not knowing wht i was doing to do onstage...so u know wht i did? i prayed to drea! :D i asked her to help up us and to keep me dancing up there. i wanted to cry afterwords. when i was upthere dancing, butt shaking, hoping, jumping, twisting, etc, i felt light as a feather, at ease, calm, energetic, and keep going for as long as possible until the music of 1 minute ended.
natureally, we were up there for about a minture b4 the music started b/c of the music person! i could hear of one of my DEANNNAAAAA", "GOOOOOOOOOOO DEANNAAAA" during the wierd period right b4 the music. made me feel good.
the head is kinda heavy and so when i'm wearing it, the only thing i can see is the floor. luckly, i can thier feet during the performance so i know when they start or finish/stop/pause.
think i have a fan base now. liza said i was funny n ppl were laughing. that's my job...to make ppl laugh.
the girls recruited for more cheerleaders and i went to work with mother!

we had tryouts thursday also. the guy from earlier and another girl are new cheerleaders. ;) this brings the squad up to 5. or if your counting the mascot, 6.
i overheard talk of replacement.
yes, u read that right. the careless-who-lives-on-campus-but-wont-show-up-to-practice-b/c-shes-either-jealous-or-lazy co-sponser actully showed up yesterday to practice! :o idk what sparked that ariveal..could it have been the talent show?
anyways, the newspaper ppl were there to do a story on us. the co-sponser "willow" was talking to the editor and i think co-sponser was refering to the new girl who dances "with such rythme and grace." i think we found our new mustang" HUH? the newbie is kinda slow and leanring the dance steps..who is she refering to? first she accuses me of stealing her "job", doens't show up to practice for 3 wks, and now comments on finding a new mascot? excuse me, i have the baseballs to dress up in the horrid suit taking the risk of a developing skin rashes 3 days a wk, and also being the music person. i went and bought a extra change of clothes to dress up as the mustang while she was no where in sight. i show up 2 practice even though i dont have to be there, but i do anyways. she lives on campus and can't show up for 2 hours.
