I did some snooping, check out the numbers at vgcharts. The PSP outsold the DS in the USA for 6 months in a row and 10 months out of the 23 it went head to head with it. Not only that it had a better launch than the DS buy selling about 100k more in its launch month. The PSP has done ok against the DS and it's clear we have a choice in the handheld market for once! Well, atleast in america we do and thats all I care about.

Also yes the PSP does have a platinum game, GTA liberty city stories has sold voer 1.5 million games with 5 games selling over 700k. Not to bad, could be better, but at the same time not to bad.
