It's been awhile since my last post, but what can I say? Nothing has really been happening to me gamewise since my last blog posting. But now, I finally have something to post about. I guess I should stop talking about what I'm posting and just get to posting it. >.>
As the days grew closer to wednesday, the SSBB Round 1 deadline, I found myself sending Jewls555 (the person I was matched up with) messages and biting my nails waiting for a response. I was trying to get him in a match with me so we could play our round. If we didn't do so by the end of wednesday, our match's winner would be determined randomly by Titan, and I did not want to get knocked down into the loser's bracket because of some coin flip or dice roll. Jewls sent me a response, the first time I messaged him, saying that he could not play me that day and that he would attempt to do so the next day.
After checking both Gamespot and my Brawl Friend's list several times with no sign of Jewls, I sent him another message. asking if he would be able to play me that day, and his response was somewhat depressing. He told me that he could not play me that day and that if he could not find time by the deadline, he would forfeit. I do not like winning, or losing, by technicalities, but this was the only way. After three days, Jewls finally forfeited, moving on to the Round 2 winner's bracket. I'm not sure if I'll be able to survive very long in the winner's bracket, but I'm sure it'll be fun whether I win or lose. In fact, I may already have a good head start on my union ranking, all for the better eh?
But waiting around on my computer and Wii all day and night like someone with nothing better to do wasn't all I did this week. For three days I had my friend over, I'll just call him Marty because I don't want to use his real name. :)
Marty and I are both good friends and Brawl enthusiasts, although Marty is a Sony Fan and debates that the PS3 is greater than the Wii, with or without SSBB, and he does not own Brawl or a Wii. Therefore, he isn't very good practice, although playing him is better practice than playing against a bunch of computers. Anyways, after a few hours of Brawl on the first day of his visit, we decided to see what else was in the room, and we found my copy of LoZ: Twilight Princess for the GameCube. After slapping in my old GC memory card and finding Marty's old file, we continued from where he left off (A little less than halfway through the game.) and beat it in three days (yeah that is a long time, but how much we actually played it was very spread out.) and I realized just how much I loved this game. Today I started a new file (named Link of course. :)) and I am currently trying to beat it with 100% completed (all the heart pieces, poe souls, golden bugs, etc.). I am really enjoying the experience and finding some things from the game I've never seen before (Or don't remember from the last time I beat it. XP)
Well, good night everyone. :D
