Before the big bang whier the universe started their was no time , space , or matter . HOW COULD THE UNIVERSE HAVE BEEN CREATED FROM NOTHINGNESS . YOU CANNOT CREATE SOMETHING OUT OF NOTHING . That why I believe god just made the universe some billions of years ago and then just left it to run itself, and he watches it like a reality tv show.
Of course we do, but were not crazy enough to use them randomly against our enemies like iran. Only if we really really needed to, which probably won't happen.
The bible also says that the earth stopped spinning and kept the sun in position, which would have killed us whenever that particular story took place. The bible isn't meant to be taken literally, it's just meant to teach us lessons. So if it says we die in 2012, it probably won't really happen.
