Have you ever considered the possibility that, *gasp!* you might have an unorthodox taste in games? 

Really, if it's come to the point where you need someone to mould your tastes for you, then just back away.  Nobody is going to be able to convince you to like a game that doesn;t fit with your tastes.

There is the possibility that you are just out for some hard boiled argument, but in that case, I reccomend you head over to wikipedia and contribute to the "epinephrine" vs "adrenaline" debate.  It's twice as hilarious and bounds more frivolous.
