@IvanElk: oh okay, so a new psu then. Thanks for the help! Btw, I didn't damage the motherboard trying to turn the computer on without one plugged in, did I?
Dee-Drumma's forum posts
I recently built a new computer and it doesn't seem to be working...
Compnents:
Intel xeon e3 1230 v3
MSI z87 mpower
16 gp ram
3 TB hdd
Cooler master 525 Watt psu
The motherboard indicator says that the bios is loading and the keyboard and mouse both have power, though the monitor never gets any signal...
Btw, I only used one of the two four pin power connections to the mother board because that's all my psu would support, could this be the problem?
Any ideas?
So I'm looking to build a web sever which needs to potentially handle quite a bit of load (maybe 10,000 people) with a budget of $2000 max. Any suggestions?
With stacking discounts you can get the toshiba with a i7 4700 and GPU 770m for like 1050 us dollars. NEWMAHAYHe wants something portable as well, and Toshiba's aren't really known for that. :P
Hey,
So a friend of mine is going off to university next year and was asking me for advice for a laptop. He needs a good battery life, large hard drive, and overall fast and reliable computer. He would probably also want to do some mild gaming on it. I recommended a Lenovo (http://www.ncix.ca/products/?sku=81912&vpn=59359557&manufacture=Lenovo%20Consumer&promoid=1316) for him and just wanted a second opinion. His budget is $1000 to $1200 Canadian.
Thanks!
Okay, so I'm looking for some headphones in the $120 range (Canadian). So far, I think I'm leaning towards the AKG K240 Studio.
I listen to a variety of music, mostly dubtep and rock.
Any suggestions?
