(1)that I should actually buy "OK Computer" by Radiohead. When he said it was better than"In Rainbows", and he had overreacted to IR, I had to get OKC. Needless to say I got it, and I see what the fuss is about this album. No, I can look back at "In Rainbows", and just doesn't seem as good anymore now that I know what Radiohead can REALLY do. Something similar to what happened to "Nevermind" by Nirvana happened. When I listened to "In Utero", it dwarfed NVMD, and it got kicked out of the top ten. Same exact thing. "In Rainbows" now rests just outside the top ten, with "OK Computer" taking its place at a slightly higher position. My standings are "OK Computer", "In Rainbows", and "The Bends" (just because of the amazing "Fake Plastic Trees"). "Kid A", I haven't heard, but I'm going to buy it when I do that thing I mentioned and buy all those albums I don't have. I'm sure it will be one of the best. Now, my top fifteen will stay as follows.
1. Blood Sugar Sex Magik
2. Siamese Dream
3. Vs.
4. OK Computer
5. Badmotorfinger
6. In Utero
7. Are You Experienced?
8. The Colour and the Shape
9. The Uplift Mofo Party Plan (yes, a second RHCP album)
10. Ten (another PJ album)
11. Suffer
12. In Rainbows
13. Libertad
14. Gish
15. Superunknown
And the game I can't wait for is NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams (yes NiGHTS is spelled that way on purpose). It seems like such a soft game, but I heard it's extremely fun. It looks almost like a Sonic-esque game, but flying instead of running. Here's the cover:
Now, judging by that cover, you may want to hate the game, but let's look at some screenshots:
Okay, amybe it still looks wussy, but dammit, it looks fun too!!!! It should stall me until Super Smash Bros. Brawl comes out.
Now pull up a chair, and plug your ears, IT'S TIME FOR A DEE RANT (alarm noises go off)!!!
THE RANT
TONIGHT: Stuck in my pit of anger right now, and also at a point where I want to burn them all, is Rolling Sonte Magazine. Now, any good fan of music knows that they are almost the lowest form of musical information. Thhe decent reviews they've given of an album that I've read, are the review to "Are You Experienced" (5 stars), and "In Rainbows (4.5 stars). I just recently went to their website to read the review on "OK Computer". While the c=screen loaded, I waited for 5 red stars to appear in front of me. To my surprise (and anger), it had four stars!!!!!!!! Now, you may say, what do you expect from them? I expect "OK Computer", one of the greatest albums in modern history to get a perfect score. They at least did this album some justice by putting it in the top 150 of their "500 Greatest Albums of All Time", but not high enough! One witness said, that it has four stars because Robert Christeagu (guru of sh!t reviews) said that it "had no soul". No WTF does that mean? As one of the reviewers said, "It sucks your bones dry until there is no soul left", whic he said IS WHY IT DESERVES A FIVE!!! Now, I want a visual of Robert Christeagu, so I can vandalize it, but I'll just post a normal picture of him:
There you go.
