"But you're staring at me...

...like I'm, like I'm driving the nails" This a legendary grunge song worthy of God's listening (even if he would send the band to hell if he heard the lyrics :P), so you better get it.

I would like to celebrate a momentous occasion:

YOU HEROES (stealing Colbert's favorite word) HAVE OFFICIALLY GOTTEN MY LAST BLOG TO HAVE 25 POSTS!!! THAT'S A RECORD BY I BELIEV 8 POSTS!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVERYBODY GETS FREE ICE CREAM (Disclaimer: the ice cream isn't edible in case you were going to chew on your monitor)

Okay, we now return to our regularly scheduled blog.

I've officially wood burned practically every inch of my body. Why/ At volleyball oractice, we had to a drill that felt like murder. YOu stand with both your feet on the back line (30' line). The coach stands at the net, and throwsa ball about 5 feet in the air, right in fron of them. You have to run 30', scoop it up, and dive. I didn't wear any knee pads, today, so my legs are burned in five different places on each leg, not including the nasty huge one I got at our last tournament.

On a lighter subject:

ONLY 24 DAYS UNTIL MY BIRTHDAY!!!

I know I'm getting the Radiohead tickets as part of presents (well, one of the tickets), and probably Mario Kart Wii, but not sure what else. Maybe a bunch of CDs and some money. I know one thing I am definitely buyin with birthday money:

Know what that isa Rocktron Banshee talk box. Isn't she a beauty. I've been a long time talk box lover (love when Jerry Cantrell uses it, love me some Frampton talk-boxing), and have decided a need one. Why? Simple, you can make a guitar talk with it. That's it. That, and you can get a perfect wah-wah sound using it, without complicating the use of the pedal. I need it.

I've been inspired by Shadow to do a top friends list, so here we go.

10. jacobp76 (AKA Jacob)- Sorry Jacob, you would've been quite a bit higher but I spaced and forgot about you until the end of the list and had to just add oyu in at the end (i'm too lazy to change all the numbers). There is one extreme standout about Jacob: he blogs a lot, so I'm constantly distracted form homework (that's a good thing). He comments on almost all of my blogs, and I comment all of his. Great semi-new member.

9. Skyancez (AKA Sky)- Very thoughtful and kind. He put me on his top 5 friends list, so I gotta shout back to him. I miss the Sky awards (which I won a few times :)), but his blogs are still fun.

8. NYBrian- He argues about him actually being like this (the first two), but he is kind, not hostile, and intelligent. He is easy to have a discussion with without creating a flame war.

7. nineone14peace (AKA Josh)- He's been knocked form a higher position because he hasn't been on much lately, but still the kindest person on this whole site. Always leaves polite comments, and if he doesn't like something in a blog, reminds himself that everyone has an opinion. Get back on here, and then keep up the good work.

6. alp81 (AKA Al)- He always writes extremely entertaining blogs, fun to read and to comment on. He always leaves thoughtful comments that relate completely to the blog, and tries to avoid arguments. Need I say more?

5. heylin_prince (AKA hp)- One of the most fun people to argue with in the world. We always end up poking fun at each other's obsessions and biases. Also, he is good at avoiding bias to the best extent when making a greatest ever list.

4. RoboAmish (AKA Mark)- Although he (or possibly she as a recent Sky blog recently considered, not sure if it was a joke :P), it (?) always comments on my blog, and replies back and forth every time I respond, which is nice for a conversation.

3. TweekFan (AKA Ryan)- What many of you may not know is that Tweek was actually one of the first good friends I had on this site. Long, long ago (in a galaxy far far away :P), when I first joined the site, he was one of my friends in the first month. He took a break for the Summer, but them came back full throttle. His only flaw is that he hasn't blogged for over a month and rarely blogged before that, although he keeps promising us one. Still, a great editor and a great (cyber) friend.

2. 6dark6shadows6 (AKA/usually called, Shadow)- Also, the most fun person to argue with ever. Definitely a good debater, which is why he usually gets the last word in arguments, and writes blogs that keep you ntertained for a while, and makes me rack my brain with lyric guessers. He said I was his most constant friend, and I have to say that back. I don't think I've missed a blog form him (maybe one or two) in omnths, and I don't think he's missed any of mine either.

AND THE NO.1 IS...

1. ElmisOriginal (AKA Elmis)- Also Shadow's no.1. Elmis, I think we all agree, you're one of the most liked members on the site. You can hardly read a blog from this guy without cracking up and sh!tting your pants (metaphorically of course). In Shadow's words, he sometimes comeoff as an a$$hole fanboy (something I also seem to do in real life), but that's the best part! Also a good arguer (if you haven't figured it out, I love to argue). I have Elmis to thank for countless bands he has introduced me too (Pearl Jam, Radiohead. Mudhoney, Soundgarden, etc., yes, he got me into all of those and more). School has cut off the number of blogs he makes, but he's still the most entertaining person on the site. On top of that, damn good guitarist, makes great covers and original songs on MySpace. Great music critic. And one last thing: how can you not love (in a friendly way for anyone immature) a guy who writes "I need shoes to do this question" on his Math final? Keep it up!

Whoops, I forgot one person:

THE TEMPORARILY FORGOTTEN SECTION:

InideShotYou (AKA Indie)- Sorry Indie, did the same thing I did to Jacob and forgot about you, but there was no more room. You are the greatest indie music geek ever to live. I have Indie to thank for loving The Pixies, My Bloody Valentine (thank Indie/Elmis), and most other indie bands I like. Also a brilliant music critic, who I trust more than any magazine's critic.

And for a lifetime achievement award: Sharky. I'm not gonna whine about him again, as he's probably introducing Kurt Cobain to Family Guy up there, but just thought I'd throw him in there.

If you think I forgot about you, tell me so I can throw you in the "temporarily forgotten section" with Indie.

I hope all of you are happy to be on the list, and if you're not there, but often comment on my blog and I comment on yours, it was probably a mistake.

Here's an awesome video. It's not music, but it's awesome(ly funny).
