I can't wait for this... as long as its under 50 bucks!
I'm talking about the PSP Camera. The mini-camera is attachable to the PSP and can take pictures and videos in an amount that is only limited by the space on your memory card Duo. For some reason, this is really exciting news to me, and its because of a specific reason.
Currently, the only functioning video-recording device that we have in our house is an old "digital 8" sony handicam. This half-digital half-tape based camcorder does its job well, but it seriously feels outdated in this age of "digital video" camcorders. Its rechargable lithium ion battery is seriously almost dead (dies fast in LCD mode, normal in viewfinder mode). And it uses tapes as the main method of recording. No one really needs to record their footage onto a tape inside their camcorder THEN transfer it to their PC. Honestly, who still uses tapes anymore? its frekin 2008 man.
So naturally, i'm thinking "how awesome would it be to record stuff from your PSP to your PSP!" but im sure the camera has extremely bad quality, a slow shutter and probably consumes a ----- load of battery power.
For some strange reason, no one has reviewed this camera (that would be helpful).
Guess we'll just see how well it functions when it comes out xD.
[Edit] This video should clear any concerns anyone one has about the camera.
The picture quality is pretty good and videos are excellent.
I finally got to watch scarface. Right, anyway very interesting movie (yet violent and shocking). Funny thing is, GTA Vice City kept popping up in my mind as I watched the film. The reason for that is obvious, plus I played Vice City before watching Scarface, so in my mind all the locations and buildings (Miami for instance) seemed quite famillar.
[RANDOM YELLING] IF YOU HAVENT SEEN THIS MOVIE YET GO SEE IT RIGHT NOW--DOWNLOAD IT IF YOU HAVE TO!* [/RANDOM YELLING]
Al Pacino stated in an interview that he was at his best (acting) in Scarface and I'd have to agree. From the way Al Pacino flexibly uses the accent to just the raw feeling of "fudge you!"--(replace fudge with 4 letter curse word)--that emits from Tony/Scarface, the movie is an spendid all around experience. On a slightly revelent note, I didn't enable subtitles while watching this, just so I could get the maximum theatrical experience (plus it kinda ruins it when you know exactly what is being said... its more fun to use your ears, know what I mean?)
Next on my movie list is 300, after that, I AM LEGEND! :]
*Renting the movie may be an easier and healthier alternative by all means.
