My unions

So far I have joined three unions, the True Gaers union, the LucusArts Adventures Union and the Dante union. To be honest, I am not very active on the true gamers union because I only joined because my mate invited me, but the others I try to be as much as possbile. Not much point to this entry, just to say that I' only leel 5 and in 3 unions which I'm very proud of!

DMC and MGS

I said a while ago I would post every day about a different game, but well I have a life and other thigns to do. Like DMC and MGS! These are too fantastic games I got within 2 weeks of each other and I have been totally obsessed with them both. My two favourite games on PS2c definitely. I won't post again until a really great game comes out.

Sons of Liberty

Hey, I didn't write yesterday, too busy playing Spns of Liberty. I was trying to finish the game in a day, pretty easy challenge I know, took me 5 hours, trying to get all the dogtags. 5 hours of solid gaming and what did I get? A brown wig. W00t, now I can pretend I'm Snake instead of girly-boy Raiden! Ah well, I 've still got to get all of them on Extreme, Very Easy and Easy. I went back to Very Easy after doing European Extreme, I wouldn't suggest doing this, because it's very patronising! Just killed 20-something RAYs, and then you have to fight 3! With one-hit kills! And then Raidenfalls over and gives up. Bah, Snake would never give up. Anyway, still a great game, hopefully see Vamp in MGS4, no more Raiden because he's off with even more annoying Rose to make babies. I don't know who to feel more sorry for. Probably the baby.

Brilliant game, finished five times all the way through, Tanker on its own a lot more than that because it has Snake and it's more fun, preparing to go through again! Eagerly awaiting MGS3 now, I hope that's even better. Only two weeks away...*sob*

Crash

Hi. Fourth entry, Crash Bandicoot! Crash bandicoot has very little followers over the age of say...10, but nevertheless I have fond memories of him. I remember whe nI had my N64 I used to go round my mates house to play on his playstation and one of his games was Crash Team Racing. This was one of my first racing games believe it or not so I was quite impressed. A magazine told me that Mario Kart was a little like CTR, but much, much better. I hopped down to Game and bought it, and is one of my favourite games to this day. The moral of the story is that everyone has to start somewhere, and even though people scoff and flame people who like more primitive games like this, just remember that when you were younger you didn't have Halo or San Andreas, and little games like Crash Bandicoot inspired you on the road to success. We were all 8 once.

Devil May Cry

Right, today's entry is much more positive, as it's about one of ym favourite games! Devil May Cry! Not only is this game one of the coolest games I've also played but it's also one of the best designed, fun games as well. The game is not overly-complicated in terms of plot but it beats other games simpley by being more fun. It appeals to the casual gamer because of the gun/sword techniques that are so cool, (and me, admittedly) and the hardcore gamer has Dante Must Die.

This is the equivalent of European Extreme on Metal Gear, it's the mode that is harder than hard. Only the most skilled Devil Hunters can get anywhere on this mode, and it's taken me weeks to get very far. But when you beat a super-hard boss the feeling is unmatchable. When you've been doing the exact same thing for a week, on most games it gets frustrating and it usually goes straight back to Game. However, hen you beat Nelo Angelo the third time afer trying so hard for so long you can't beat the feeling. It makes you feel like you're the best gamer there is you feel like you're unbeatable. Personally, I think there should be a club reserved for people who have done DMD, as it would be quite exclusive.

A much more positive entry today, but tomorrow I move on to that little orange weasel Crash Bandicoot.

2nd Entry

Hi. I think I might try an make an entry every day. No idea why just for the sake of it really. Well I've said what I think of Halo, next game on my list: Megaman. Megaman games are boring.

I think I'll cover a different game every day. Tomorrow: Devil May Cry!

Halo

Hi. Since this is my first entry I'd just like to get one thing straight. I really, really hate Halo fanboys. It's not that I hate the game, it's just the people that go on and on about how brilliant it is and how it's better than the oh-so-awesome Perfect Dark and Goldeneye. I think I have a right to say this because I have it on the PC (not owning an Xbox) and I play the multiplayer quite frequently. I do not think it beats any FPS I have played other than Quake, and possible Turok Rage Wars. Winning awards like Game of the Year is just plain STUPID to me. Which brings me to GTA. Even though GTA is the very sort of game I despise (you know, things like True Crime) however I don't because I like the freedom aspect of it and it is great fun flying things around and chucking things off Mt. Chiliad.

Also, as it's my first entry these are my favourite games: DMC, MGS, Zelda OOT, Perfect Dark. (Notice the absence of Halo)

Long live Deepthroat!
