First you need to order all the parts. It is not as complicated as you may have been told.
Tools you need are small pc screw driver set(less than $5.00)
A standard #2 phillips screw driver.
A sharpie marker for doting the motherboard post holes in the case. The cases are universal and fit many mobo layouts.
A windows 7 64 bit installation Dvd. It's better. http://www.newegg.com/Store/SubCategory.aspx?SubCategory=368&name=Operating-Systems
A nice case. http://www.newegg.com/Store/Category.aspx?Category=9&name=Computer-Cases
A Power supply 600 watts is good for most people. You get what you pay for. a cheap one will last a year a good one seems to never die.

A quadcore CPU, What I have below is the lowest one and it will work fine, but you can get better. I had it for 2 years, it overclocks to 2.80 to 3.22 depending what mobo you have.

And finally a Graphics card. The thing you need to know with video cards is how the model number works. Amd the second number should be 8. example 4850 4870 4890 4970 5830 5850 5870 5970 6850 6870. For Nvidia The second number should be 70 or higher. example gt gts gl 270 280 290 370 380 390 470 480 485. Ati/amd is much cheaper than nvidia.

To assemble this you first need to get your case and screws and mobo match up the holes mark them, then install the mobo post. They are just screws you can spin them in finger tight and use needle nose pliers to tighen them a 1/4 to half turn. Now line up the mobo to the post and use the small round pantop machine threaded screws.
The ram goes in one way if only install 4 gis put the ram in the 2 blue slots.
Now mount the dvd drive. It just slides in place. Your case may have quick clips if not use 2 hex screws on each side.
Now mount the hard drive. there are many places you can mount it.
Now slide you video card in place it will click when it is in place.
Now install your power supply. Line it up at the top and use the 4 hex screws. Now conect all the wires. They are dummy proof.
