This is such a dumb thread. Who cares, just mute the dang person!!!!!!!! If you keep making a big deal out of it, its going to get so big that there will be idiots trying to shut these games down. Its people like the TC who just complain complain complain about crap that gets everyones panties in a bunch. You all just need to stop being such babies and ignore the stuff. It just makes me cry sometimes about how stupid some people really are. Come on guys use common sense about this stuff. What do you mean how are they going to know who to send it to?? Is your memory so short that you dont remember giving it to them over the phone!!?!?!??!? duh!! How do they know when you bought it?? Ok, when they scan the UPC thats how they know. Thats what you get for playing a crappy game. Maybe if the people who made the game had some kind of a hiding system like R6: Vegas, that would even it out

I am sick of people not doing their own research about HDTVs and Games and then complain when they bought a horrid product.

This is my advice:
When it comes to tech gadgets andcomputers use cnet.com, amazon.comand circuitcity.com. Though I refuse to buy from circuitcity.com, all of these sites have a database for user reviews. Cnet.com aslo has a pretty fair product review database.

For games:
you can do one(or all)of three things -
a.) Pick three game review sites. I use Gamespot.com, ign.com, and any other (sometimes it is 1up.com or some other random site). Look at their videos, read/watch their comments and ratings and then base your decision on that. Average scores if you like.

b.) Rent

c.) Use the provided message boards and listen to what people who ALREADY own the game/product say (like the tech reviews and views). You do have to be cautious however, some people will defend their opinion only because they are embarrassed by their purchase or lack of research before buying a game.

So, you're not the first person to own a game because you made the "right" decision to see how it plays or rates or is reviewed...it is better than having to walk up to a EB game counter with your head hung low, attempting to return a shoddy game.

Most importantly, be your own person.

Who is this guy?? If people are so stupid, then just ignore them. Maybe you shouldnt care what people say or buy. How bout you just skip the threads where people ask stupid questions. The only people who need reassurance are divorced women and parents who just lost there kids. If people keep asking "what game should i buy next"? then just ignore them maybe someday people will ignore them and theyll get a clue. BTW what is a shoddy game??
