As I was reading my Electronic Gaming Montly magazine the other day, I came across their rumors section.  Usually they're right, and more often then not it deals with some kind of game that I'm actually interested in.  As I was reading it, I was startled to find this rumor:  Lucasarts is MAKING A STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT III ON NEXT-GEN SYSTEMS, and is expected to come out EARLY NEXT YEAR.  Now, of course, these rumors may not be correct, but that really isn't the most startling part.  The second part of the rumor is that they're MAKING THE GAME WITHOUT THE ORIGINAL DEVELOPER OF THE SERIES, PANDEMIC, IN FAVOR FOR ANOTHER DEVELOPER WHO WILL GET THE GAME OUT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.  From what I know, Pandemic wanted to spend more time on SWBFIII then Lucasarts wanted, so they got rid of them in favor for someone else.  It's really not possible to completely screw up Battlefront, but one never knows.... My question to the rest of you is if you think that this rumor may be true.  It may be, for all that we know.
