The difference between XBOX360 and Playstation 3 can be seen in Orange Box. Playstation uses environments with more shades and "darker" visuals and in fact this gets on the nerves of many players(like me). XBOX360 was a lot cheaper and still is and there have been published more games for it than PS3. I also like environments to be as sharp as the creators of them can, so I chose to buy an XBOX360 recently and I fell I haven't been mistaken. I play XBOX in a 32" screen and it feel just perfect, while a friend of mine which play Playstation 3 in a huge screen (I think it is 46") and not only is the resolution a lot worse, but I get a headache when I play in such screens. So, either you buy an XBOX360 or PS3, it depends much on what screen do you use and many times what type of games(PAL or NTSC).The Elder Scrolls IV, for example , if played on XBOX360 in a medium screen, can be a lifetime experience (!) and you get the feeling you play the BEST GAME IN THE WORLD!
