Ok this is probably the only blog I'll ever write but I'm so mad I just have to tell everyone possible, even if nobody's listening.

I work at a GameStop and we got a couple 60 gig PS3s in today. I figured I'd borrow some money from my parents (poor college student here) and turn around and sell it on eBay. Except, stupid me, didn't check beforehand only to find out that corporate policy says if I do that, I get fired and can never be hired ever again!

Oooookay. . .

Since I found out that little tidbit literally as I was handing over my debit card, I figured that, just as a little insurance, I'd buy Resistance and try it out just to see for myself. Except, oh yeah, the PS3 doesn't come bundled with HDMI cables so the game kind of looks like ass. Not to mention the fact that the loose controls, looser story, and just plain lax facial detailing make for a rather expensive 15-30 minutes of boredom and frustration.

So now I can either sell this stupid thing to my friend and turn a profit of only $40-50, sell it on eBay and hope my managers (yes, plural) don't think it's suspicious that somebody with the same address as me is selling a brand new 60 gig PS3, or just ride it out and hope that something, anything decent comes out for this system in the near future.

Also, my Wii's broken (which is another story altogether) and this is entirely too depressing because I was easily having the most fun playing video games that I ever have in my entire life.
