Unless you want to look like a huge tool. Sony dominated E3, hands down. It baffles me to see people defend Microsoft on their policies with the Xbox One.

If you support what Microsoft is doing with the Xbox One, then you support DRM always online anti-gamer anti-consumer bullcrap and and I don't see how someone could be comfortable with that. It's not even about brand loyalty anymore, it's about which company is valuing and respecting the gamers and consumers.

Me and my dad have been huge Halo fans since day one when Halo: CE came out and we've played on Xbox consoles ever since. I told him the other day about what Microsoft was doing with the Xbox One, we are no longer Xbox customers. Literally went out and sold my Xbox.

I can't fathom how people are still OK with this.

Most of the people who bash on the Wii U either don't own one and listen to what everyone else says, or they just don't like Nintendo for whatever weird reason. I have a Wii U, and me and my girlfriend use it pretty much everyday. We did a side-by-side comparison of PS3 and Xbox video streaming and Wii U streaming on my internet conneciton, and the Wii U has by far the best streaming quality of any console on the market right now. It's too bad that the system itself is kinda slow, but there's a firmware update coming out this week. As far as selection goes, there is a lot of stuff to play. Monster Hunter is on it, so is NSMBU, ZombieU, LIttle Inferno, NintendoLand, Batman, Darksiders, and the entire Wii library, including Virtual Console. Right now I've been playing through Skyward Sword again on hero difficulty and I'm having a great time. Black Ops 2 also works really well on it. It's too bad that Bioshock: Infinite didn't come out on it but that's why I also have a gaming PC. I think the people who bash Nintendo the most tend to be younger gamers that didn't grow up in the NES/SNES generation and look at whatever Nintendo does as "kiddy". I find more maturity in Zelda than I do in Call of Duty, that's for sure. The Wii U is doing fine, sales are a bit slow but they will pick up once the heavy hitters get announced at E3. Will it do as well as PS4 or the next Xbox? Who knows at this point. We're bashing a console that is barely 6 months old. I truly don't understand the hatred towards Nintendo.

I like his passion, and I love the fact that he speaks out against PC elitist douchebags. Sometimes he rubs people the wrong way, but behind every PR mistake he makes there's a reason why he says it... He just doesn't know how to be graceful about it, or know that sometimes it's better to not say anything on the matter.

I guess I felt like stopping by here to make this poll to spark some good discussion. If it doesn't belong in System Wars I'll just move it to General Discussion but I figured this could turn into an epic argument across the board.

Which is the best console, and why? For your specific reason, explain why this makes your console the best and if you can, back it up with some data.

If you believe your console of choice has more than one major strength, explain why.

In my opinion, having a PC, a 3DS XL and a Wii U is more than enough selection for me. I also have a PS3 on hand for Sony exclusives. It all comes down to personal preference. Why am I in System Wars again?

As a Christian, I found the violence to be much more offensive than all the religious symbolism. Still, fantastic game. If that's how he felt though, good on Valve to give his money back, no matter how ridiculous other people may see it. I find it baffling that so many Christian gamers have more problems with sex and language and something that challenges their beliefs than chopping off some dude's neck in Call of Duty. Sheesh.

Yeah yeah we get it. The next Xbox is horrible. Worst gaming device ever concieved. Blocks used games, forces you to play kinect, have a super amazing internet connection and while you sleep it transforms into a robot and rapes you.

Seriously, the amount of negative press the system is getting when nobody knows a damn thing is pathetic. People have made it perfectly clear that they want the next xbox to fail. Maybe it's a Microsoft hate thing. Maybe people just want to see the current market leader fall because they're currently on top. Whatever the reasons, it's clear people want the next xbox to fail and just love latching on to whatever negative rumour that has very little basis. I'm more of a PlayStation fan, but even I can see that. Just wait for the official unveiling. If when we really know what's going on and the system does all the wrong things, hate on it then. Also I'd just like to point out that there's no way in hell that Microsoft would make is so that every single game and app requires an internet connection to start. That's the most laughable rumour I've ever heard.

This has nothing to do with anti-Microsoft. What is going on with these rumors, if they turn out to be true, are anti-consumer practices. It shouldn't matter what side of the fence you're on, whatever is going on with the next Xbox right now reeks of always-online DRM, making the Kinect and casual gaming their big focus, and having douchenozzles like this Adam Orth guy representing the team working on the next Xbox. Look, I've been an Xbox fan since the very beginning, got the original Xbox the year it came out, put hundreds of hours into the Halo series. I don't think anyone really wants to see them fail, the 360 has been a pretty good console so far. But the media has every right to lash out and put negative press on this, because frankly, if no one complains then things WILL go this way.

I cannot for the life of me get around to finishing Skyward Sword, Mass Effect 2 and 3, and Half-Life 2 episodes 2 and 3. Yet I managed to sink 200 hours into Diablo 3, 50-100 hours into Battlefield 3 across different platforms, and who knows how many hours into WoW. I'm also replaying Bioshock: Infinite on hard. I have a huge backlog of games, I think that is pretty normal for most gamers.

I have to wholeheartedly disagree here. Bioshock: Infinite is probably the best story I've every experienced in a game. I guess if you're looking for a super happy ending where everything wraps up in a neat little bow at the end, then you'll be disappointed. I would argue that most great stories feature tragic endings or anti-heroes, and while the very ending is not tragic, it's not necessarily a feel good ending. It's an incredible rumination on religion, guilt, racism, nationalism, and the lengths a man will go to redeem his past. Probably not for everyone but I loved it.

Finished the game this morning, we have another Ocarina of Time/Half-Life/Super Mario 64 on our hands here. It's a brilliant work of art. The game pushes boundaries with what we can tell in a video game. Ever since I finished it, it's all I can think about. It's more than a great game, it's a borderline perfect game, and the ending is incredible.
