20 years ago you paid 50 bucks for a full offline game, a bible manual, and once and a while, some goodies, now you may end up paying 50 for a half-baked game with a multiplayer that either gonna be dead or deactivated a year later because the company sure gonna release an updated version of it, and you are lucky if it comes in a box, and that's when you get retail. That being said, people still buy games on release day, some games break the million sells barrier on the first week and developers have the nerve to whine? the hell with then, they can all quit for all I care, gaming is an industry that will always have people working on it as long as people like gaming.
