I was looking forward to being able to play one game and quickly loading another when friends are online. Also was looking forward to never switching game discs. Companies don't make revolutionary products by listening to the consumer, because consumers don't want what they haven't imagined. Shame on Microsoft for listening to all of these idiot complaints.

Yes this is what i am replying to. The policy changes killed the original X1. Digital sharing is done with and a lot of the cool featurex X1 had are now lost.
I loved the X1 regardless. I fully understand some people don't have internet stability. But a price for further development. Now we arb ack where we started. And who knows what more features the X1 has lossed i still hope that quick switch stuff will stil be around.
Im fully supporting X1, after researching every thing i can about it, its not as bad as people think and the media is negativly putting out hyperboles.
Ultimately the biggest strength of the X1 will probably be Xbox Live again.....300k servers reported to be running for X1. XBL has been better this Gen compared the PSN, and I don't think this is going to change next gen....MS has a good lead on Sony when it comes to the online infrastructure, and Sony is just starting now to force people to pay to play online, and to add some online features that we have had all along on XBL.. If you play a lot of online games, I recommend you go with the X1.
If you mostly play single player games, then the choice might be tougher....just chose the system that has the games that interest you the most.

I've done a lot of research on X1 and it seems like a pretty fair console just a tad confusing on its policies. I do indeed game online a lot usually on my computer so i have no problem with the check-ins. So right now im thinking of going of the X1
So, i recently decided that id get a Ps4. But i really don't feel comfortable with the decision knowing though that its what will benefit me more right now ( Ill probably get over it if i actualyl get the PS4). What im really saying is I decided on a Ps4 but at the same time i don't want to just leave MS. The only things that really turned me off is the used game/dat 100$ price difference because of the forced kinect. Im hopign the policies will change by november but I dunno. What would you say the Pros/Cons of X1 comapred to ps4? Also does any one have this article that details the Used game policy? (heard about it)
