I indeed have had Xbox Live before, my old router was a hub, owned by Network Everywhere (old Linksys, I believe.) My ISP is MTS, which can be found in Manitoba, Canada. I broke my old router/hub, and recently purchased this, just to find out there's multiple connection problems. :(
Hello everyone, I'm somewhat new, and somewhat old.. Anyways; The problem here, is trying to connect to Xbox Live.. It keeps saying 'Your DNS can't resolve the names of the Xbox LIVE servers or Xbox.com servers' My friend and I have been trying for a few hours to fix this, but we haven't really gotten anywhere. We're using a D-LINK DI-604 model, and DHCP is enabled. (When we disable it, the Xbox doesn't even connect to the internet!) Another problem is when we try to plug an Ethernet cable into the Uplink, we get NO connection at all! Any help would be appreciated.. I'm sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but I felt it was the most necessary one. (horribly worded, I know)
Well, I do know it might not freeze, it just does the little square connecting thing, and then my wiimote is unable to move around anymore, frozen in that position.. Same for the square, and I still hear the noise when it is connecting normally. This sucks, I don't want to have to send in my wii, or my stuff. :(
