Wrote a new review

Hey all,

It's been a while since I've actively done anything here. I've been so busy lately, but now I can spare some time. I just completed Max Payne 3 and decided to write a review as a way to get back in. It's been like 6 years since my last review. I hope I have time for more in the future. I've been a big fan of the game since the first one came out and I've been eagerly awaiting this game and I had a blast with it. I'm glad that they brought this game back and still maintain the essence of the original despite its changes to the modern era. After completing it, I just felt like sharing my thoughts about it in a review.

Here's the link:

If you guys need a breakdown of how I review games, here's how it works. It follows the classic Gamespot approach that each category is graded out of 10 and the certain scores have a specific weight to them. Gamplay: worth 0.3 pts, Presentation: 0.2 pts, Sound: 0.1 pts, Value: 0.2 pts, Tilt: 0.3 pts.

Gameplay is self explanatory; it is essentially how the game is made and plays. Mostly game quality.

Presentation is more than just the graphics. It is how the game presents itself using what it has and the level of artistry.

Sound includes the voice acting and musical score.

Value is how well the holds up during the experience you play it and how long it lasts.

Tilt is the lasting impression and how much credit I would give it. If it was fun or if I liked how the game was put together, then it'll get more in this category. Depending on where it is in respect to the other categorial scores will push it up or down in the 0.5 range of the new system.

With this point system, a game can end up with a score between the 0.5 intervals the new system implements. But the score presented at the top of my review is what it gets with the new Gamespot system.

I hope you guys enjoy it. Let me know what you think!

Thanks a lot,

Level 59 Again!

Today I made it back to level 59. Level 59 is important because it was the highest level I achieved before being aggressivelymoderated for posting "copyrighted" media which cost me a few levels here. I believed it took me about 3 years to get back to my highest mark.

Upgrade 80 GB to 500 GB

Today, I spent my time upgrading my PS3's hard drive to 500GB from 80 GB. I was running out of space so an upgrade was necessary. The processs was quite long; it took about 7 hours to back up, change and restore the memory in the new hard drive. Hopefully this will last me for the rest of the generation.

So I got this new HD TV

Sunday, we got a Samsung LED 3D HDTV for $1850. We were looking for a TV for a few weeks and were thinking of getting one two generations older for about $1600 until we found the one we got for only $250 more. So it took me the whole day to set it up since I ha to move some stuff around and clean up places which we haven't cleaned in years. So far the TV is amazing and I can enjoy my games in HD unlike in the past where I had trouble reading texts on the screen.

My massive game buying spree

So recently I have gone on an shopping spree looking for games all over New York City. Part of it is to look for some old Gamecube games for my Wii. I bought 3 additonal controllers for my console for my family to play. In the past two weeks, I added Wii games such as Zelda: Twilight Princess, Mario Kart Wii, Resident EvilMa, and Mad World. I also added the Gamecube games I was looking for such as Mario Sunshine,Enternal Darkness, and Paper Mario. There still a few I am looking for and if you recommend any, that would be great.

I also found a very rare PS2 game called ICO.

In total, I must have spent about $1000 in the past 3 weeks. I don't want to spend anymore but this spree could end any future purchases for the rest of the year.
