@sabinataboo: That's a great argument, I mean why play one of the best written games ever, with some of the most memorable quests and possibly the most interesting open world ever created, if you think the protagonist looks like a "retard"? You've really got your priorities in order there.
I'm a guy, does that mean I should skip Tomb Raider, even if it's a really good game, just because the lead character doesn't have a penis?
Great to read another VanOrd review, looking forward to a last hurrah with Geralt. And good luck at Larian Kevin, Original Sin is one of my favorite recent RPGs, nice to hear you'll be working on the sequel.
Happy 20th Gamespot, spent a fair bit of time on here over the years and its been quite enjoyable. Here's to 20 more. And a big thank you to all the staff, past and present. Special thanks to Kevin VanOrd, great reviewer, and Danny O'Dwyer, great...irish bloke :). Just two requests - Enough with the auto-play videos, ads or otherwise, they're incredibly annoying, and next time you write an article like this, get Jeff Gerstmann's name right :) . Oh, and less clickbait articles please (futile request, I know).
I never pre-order any game, but I would happily pre-order Cyberpunk 2077 right now if I could. I've never been so sure that a game I know almost nothing about will be excellent. Also if I ever make enough money, I'm going to buy all the CDPR shares I can and burn them all so there's no chance of a hostile takeover. That's how shares work, right?
@Mighty-Lu-Bu: Of course she is a celebrity, by any definition of the word, she is a celebrity. And that's what is so depressing. Long gone are the days when you had to actually DO something amazing to be a celebrity, to have a modicum of talent and achieve success in your field. She is the perfect embodiment of the modern day celebrity.
@Revl8n: You realise that everyone working in the entertainment industry spends a lot of time and money trying to convince people to give their product a shot? Makes no difference how compelling their product is. Tarantino may be one of the most successful directors in Hollywood with a massive fan base but he still turned up on multiple chat shows with almost his entire cast to convince people to watch The Hateful Eight. All Remedy is saying is that since this is something new and different, they hope people will give it a shot. That doesn't make Quantum Break any less compelling. That being said, I'll also wait for the reviews, like I do with almost all games.
