Seriously, all the games like battlefield 3, homefront, crysis and all the other modern FPS games that come out every year. COD4 revultionaized everything, it added many things that gave other developers an idea to make. Battlefield 3 would be nowhere as it is good now if it wasnt for COD. Also COD has the best sales which proves how original, unique the game is. No more, its true. Go cry over your silly little battlefield when we get to play a game that basically created the whole FPS and it revulitionazed.

Alright, I'm usually not one to be picky about how some things are spelled, but this case truly surprised me. 'Revultionaized'? 'Revulitionazed'? Did you mean 'revolutionized'? I may be wrong and feel free to correct me, but based entirely off the way you have spelled these words (without consistancy and incorrectly) leads me to believe you might not be of age where you have experienced another FPS franchise before Call of Duty.

Before I get called out as a hater, do I like Call of Duty? I do. The games are a lot of fun in my opinion. However TC, you need to be rather naive to believe that Call of Duty is the reason why FPSs exist now, did you play any FPSs before Call of Duty 4? Where would Call of Duty 4 be without those other FPSs?

It's the worst shooter I think I've ever played....

If you've only ever played Your Favorite Shooter X and Modern Warfare, then yes. :P I kid, but do you really think that? I thought it was a heck of a great game and even someone who didn't have fun with it would be able to appreciate it's qualities, or I would hope. Why didn't you like it?

Is Nintendo not somewhat telling the truth? I mean, if the pirate pirates a game and likes it, would this person not recommend it to other people? Sure they would probably recommend it to others who will also pirate it, but also word would spread to those without the means or motivation to pirate the game. This would then lead to some people who were told the game was great by a pirate to buy the game, which then leads to more game sales that would not be there if the game had not been pirated. I dunno, I'm just thinking out loud here folks.

[QUOTE="DiceDatabase"]I hope the future of gaming brings with it true high speed internet ANYWHERE on the planet. Right now my connection is not fast enough to be able to even demo the service, I'm sticking to my consoles for now, thanks. For those who thought I may have said OnLive should be the one providing internet, that is not true, I am only saying I hope what I stated becomes true before OnLive takes over.subrosian
OnLIVE won't "take over", they won't be in business in 5 years and it has nothing to do with the fact the technology is wrong. The company is a scam, period, it will start charging monthly fees in another year or two (they're in the TOU, only temporarily removed) and as soon as people catch on that, unlike STEAM, this company can pull your games at any time, they won't buy into it. Console makers are not going to allow OnLIVE to tread into retail markets either - it's going to be a slog that they company cannot possibly financially withstand, leading to the point down the road of inevitable infrastructure upgrades they cannot afford, and eventually to deterioration and collapse. OnLIVE is from the cost perspective an ice cube in hell.

I find your analysis very comforting actually. I don't mind OnLive as a choice or alongside my main gaming forms (if I could use it that is) but the idea of that being the future does not sit well with me.

Probably using the invincibility cheat to get "Just One Bullet" in Half Life 2 Episode 1. I wasn't going to beat all those zombies to death and try to manage my health, what a waste of time.

If your wife does not want you to purchase one, I would say that is a low thing to do to her. However, if she has not expressed any hate towards the idea, I say going out and getting one would not be a scumbag thing. After all, you bought a video game console, nothing huge. If it worries you though, do what a lot of users re saying and just ask her about it.

Forgiveth Me Lord - Kill 2,000 Enemies I'm A Ghostbuster, Not A Doctor! - Revive your teammate 20 times. I would like to know what you intend to do with this knowledge.

I'm not surprised nor am I worried. Modern Warfare had a very short campaign, playing through on Veteran sure make it longer, but only due to my own mistakes. :P I suspect MoH's campaign will be a lot of fun, just like MW's was. I won't be buying it at full price though that's for dang sure.

Ugh, while I do not agree with that statement at all, I would like it to be true. I just don't see how it is possible though and it would appear I am not alone. What I would like to know is, why would Rare say something like that if they knew it was a lie? Would such a statement really convince enough people to get Rare's Kinect products? I can't see another reason why they would claim that.
