I just got a new PC, and it came with a new headset as well.

 Well i've tried plugging the headset into both mic plug-ins (there is one in the front, and one in the back) but neither of them work. I tried plugging in the headset to my old PC and it works just fine.

The mic is NOT muted, but no matter what i do, i cant seem to get it working, ideas?

Im about to reformat  laptop, it is a I-Buddie 4, A928, anyon have info on all the drivers and what not i need to download before hand? (yes im saving them to a flash drive so i can put them on here)

But before i do, i need to know is there a place where i can see a list of software that does, or does NOT work on Vista?, games, photoshop, 3dsmax, etc etc

Well i know it has to, but i also know that not everyone on here has a credit card, so there has to be a way

Ok so someone is going to buy me an upgrade on here as a gift, but it says my name/info has to match that on the credit card, well it wont let me change my birthdate and their BD is differant from mine, is this going to be a problem?, is there anything i can do?
