[QUOTE="dakan45"][QUOTE="kieranb2000"][QUOTE="dakan45"]"fantastic dragon age 2 demo" I am sorry but the demo was so garbage that i immediatly erased dragon age 2 from my wishlist permantly.

If you say so, I really enjoyed it. I was glad to see they didn't change the fundamental gameplay :D Kinda wish there had been more difficulty settings in the demo though, because it was pretty easy.

I was really turned out by the linearity, the extreme lack of options, cant change character apperance, cant change skills, cant change inventory, cant change the freaking camera, cant change the difficulity and on top on that the new style reminds me more of zeno clash than dragon age. Textures sure are hd though.

Just a heads up, the demo had character customization, inventory management and the difficulty locked, but the final game has all of that available.

I know Dragon Age II is going to be full of content, great story narratives and strategic game-play, but what really hurt the demo for me was the fact that Direct X11 wasn't enabled and that we could only use up to medium quality graphics. Even though I question Bioware's motives for doing that, It was still an enjoyable demo. I personally like the new game-play approach. For starters, it's more responsive and when you think about it, it still has the things that made the original Dragon Age fun but with a more stylish look and feel.

I'm getting Dragon Age II and Crysis 2 for sure, that's a no brainer for me. I was thinking of getting Rift, but after playing the open beta I'd rather just wait for The Old Republic (at least until Guild Wars 2 comes out). I think WoW can keep my MMO needs satisfied until then anyway... especially since Rift is essentially using the same old MMO formula. I might get Dawn of War II: Retribution down the road though, since a few of my friends are interested in it.
