Yesterday my favorite baseball team the New York Mets were playing the Milwaukee Brewers. The Mets were losing 4-3 and then Gary Sheffield came into the game to pitch hit. He was 1 shy of 500 home runs. Then he blasted one to right field achieving the 500 home runs. He is the first New York Met to achieve 500 home runs. The Mets later won with the infield RBI single from Castillo that brought home Delgado in the bottom of the ninth. Mets win it 5-4
