I can't help with the site, but for future reference, use Mozilla Firefox (it's free) with the addon called Foxmarks (also free); it saves all of your bookmarks to a i-net server, which also allows you to access them from any computer, and is self updating.

This will prevent the loss of your bookmarks in the future at least.

great tip, thanks!

So you are looking for a site with free indie or flash downloadable games? Or with real games? Gametap has free games but not flash based games.

ZuluEcho14

flash games I think, the soul destroying kind that shes addicted too :P

Diner dash, alices garden, burger shop...those kind. usually cost about £9.99 but with ads you can download them for free

hi all

My girlfriend is big on down-loadable games such as diner dash etc...

She found a site where she could download these games for free with ads. No time limit just an ad at every level.

But our computer caught a virus and we lost all our files and bookmarks and we cannot remember where this site is. Looked in google and it only comes up with 60min downloads.

Do any of you have any ideas where we can find this site or someother site similar?

Thanks for you help :)

it's only £8.99 at the mo, but I got it when it was £30. And I'm not atall gutted, because it's such a great album. It's only just a double album, something like 74mins long, and every second is perfect, everynote is just where it should be. "I've got a little black book with my poems in" ...don't know y I said that, bit random, think I'll go and put it on.

I've got the EU copy of FF6 I got from Gamestation for £30, so I can directly compare the two. The US one has 3 sprites walking to the left where the EU one says "Square Enix" and "Nintendo". There are no nintendo or square logos on the US sticker. Which is on a bit of an angle. It does have the code AGB-BKWE-USA in the bottom right. And the E symbol in the bottom left. All my other games have a gold nintendo seal, but this doesn't. The sticker over the screw is made of paper, is it suposed to be metalic. My EU games don't have any. The cart does seem a bit thicker than normal.

My girlfriend just lost her Final Fantasy VI Advance save!!! The files are corrupt on the GBA cart.

It's the American version we bought over the internet, with the E symbol. The same happened with More Friends of Mineral Town. Can lightning strike twice in the same place? Thats 2 out of 3 games we've imported that have done this.

Is buying games off e-bay a big no no?

Do all import games have that sticker over the screw? Because UK games don't seem to need that.

Have we been had? Or is this a common fault and can the game be fixed?

I urge you to keep looking for your micro.

In the UK they are available pre-owned for £39.99 at Gamestation. Curry's still had them a couple of months ago, not sure now. Amazon have them new and used, but they are £70 new. They were selling them for £40 not so long ago.

Good luck!

I don't think the Micro plays the old GB carts either, you need an SP to do that.

But I will say that the GBA carts do stick out the front of the DS. I got my micro for this reason, my ds wouldn't fit in its case if I left my game in, and I kept losing that little port cover.

The micro is so much more convenient if you just want to play GBA games, and although they are gunna stop making new games, there is such a big back catalogue that you shouldn't worry. For alot of games the second screen and extra buttons of the DS are just redundant, Super Mario Bro is a good example.

Don't get me wrong, I love the DS, but don't right the micro off before its time. The DS will always be there.
