Whenever I pull ANY of the levers, the gates do not respond. They dont even move. I tried reloading about 100 times, and quit the game, re-enter, everything. This sucks because the huntress is stuck as my follower until I complete the quest.. Just another damn ps3 bug. Any help or tips anything?!

Do I need to play all previous AC games to know the story? I only play AC2 and I was confused as I skipped the first one. I really dont want to get all the AC games and finish them to understand the plot. Or could I just read the story online?
