from my four day experience with the slim, im wishing i had bought the phat one, i dropped my slim one on the floor (and im talkin just a 2 foot drop) and now the screen is blank, everything seems to work from the sound, but i cant see anything. so if i were you id just buy a phat one.
idk i bought the silver one cuz i didnt wanna wait for the star wars one, and i dropped it like 2 feet and the screen wont work now....so id say dont buy either, but if your set on getting it..
the silver one comes with - 1gb memory stick, family guy best 5 episodes, daxter(such a bad game).
the white one comes with - 2!!!GB memory stick (which can hold way more than 5 episodes of family guy on it) and Battlefront.
i dropped mine but the screen didnt crack...its just not working. I'll turn on my psp and u can hear everything, i can still select options and probably even play stuff but the screen is blank....do you know if theres anything i can do to fix it? i have not heard back from the sony site
dude if i were you i would not trade in your old one, unless u can buy like a titanium cover for it. I just bought the psp slim like 4 days ago, and last night at work i dropped (it was only a 2 foot drop) onto the floor and now the screen is all F*ckedup....so from my 4 day experience id say keep your old one and see if u can just get the hardware upgrades for it.
