I'm sorry. But I honestly don't believe that Tennessee belongs in the top 5 at all. Like the SportsCenter and College Gameday crews said, they have one of the most inconsistent QB in the country. Don't get me wrong, they have a good team, but not number 5 material in my opinion. My picks:
1. Ohio State.....Go Bucks! OH-IO!
2. USC
3. West Virginia
4. Michigan - Big 10 much tougher than Big 12
5. Texas - Gave no opposition to the Buckeyes whatsoever
6. Auburn - My pick at seasons beginning to face OSU for title, but after horrible loss to Arkansas there's no chance
7. Florida
8. Tennessee - Erik Ainge can't go two straight weeks with an amazing game.
9. Louisville - made quite the run without Michael Bush
10. Boise State - are always in it the past few years.
----You may say my picks are biased because I'm an Ohioan and a Buckeye fan, however, clearly they are the best team in the country. With Peterson out, Troy Smith should easily win the Heisman barring a serious injury.
Notre Dame and California each have a shot at the top 10 depending on the result of their games vs. USC. Brady Quinn will have to come prepared.
Missouri possibly in top 10 with win over Nebraska.
Rutgers as well following results vs. West Virginia and Louisville.
Finally, Wisconsin may have a slim to none chance if they defeat Penn State and Iowa.
