Madden

Okay it's true I am not a big sports game fan, however I am becoming an acheivment whore so I have now borrowed all 4 current 360 madden games from a friend with the intent of gaining all 1000 acheivments on each game. We will see how that works out as aparently at least on of the games requieres you owning a copy of a NCAA game.

However it turns out, I now have 1000 more achievments from playing Madden NFL 06. Now I am off to start working on Madden NFL 07.

New console

I picked up a PS3 this past December. And have actually been enjoying a couple of games on it. lol I never liked the PS2 so I was kinda suprised. I have recently finished MGS4 which was pretty good although I almost died with the 90 minute video ending. Resistance, while I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as Halo is still a quality title, and most suprisingly LittleBigPlanet has been the game I have been playing the most. I am in shock as I normally don't go near games that arn't rated M.

BluRay kicks ass. That is the main reason I got a PS3 and it doesn't dissapoint. I love watching movies with BluRay it makes even boring movies better.

Meh...

I'm getting lazy, I completed Condemed: Criminal Origins and Manhunt in the past two weeks and still have yet to write a review. I guess I need to write one sometime soon. I think I might actually write the Manhunt one first even though I completed that game last, just because Manhunt was way cooler. I know, I know, Condemed is a really good game, but Manhunt somehow is just better. Ahh well I shall review them both soon enough.

G'night, I have work tomorrow.

PC Games I have installed

Right now, this second, I have the following games installed on my PC.  (I have alot of Xbox games, but I am talking about the PC at the moment)  So here they are:

Call Of Duty 2
Americas Army
Fahrenhiet
Mark Ecko's Getting Up
Oblivion
Need For Speed Underground 2
NBA Live 2004
Tiger Woods PGA Tour '06
Total Overdose
Tomb Raider Legends
Hot Wired
Prey Demo (Didn't like it enough to get the game)
F.E.A.R.
Half Life 2
Half Life
Counter Strike: Source
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter
Far Cry
Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow (I already beat the other two)
Unreal Tournament 2004

007 Golden Eye

I don't know about anyone else out there, but personally I am really excited about the new Nintendo Wii. Why? My excitement can easily be summed up in a single phrase, backwards compatibility. I know that alot of people probably could care less about playing some of their old Nintendo favorites, but there are a few titles that I believe still have life left in them, and heres hoping that the Nintendo Wii treats them right.

Okay enough beating around the bush, the real reason I am excited about the Wii is, of course, 007 Golden Eye. Golden Eye is the only reason me and my friends retain copys of the Nintendo 64, I mean sure Diddy Kong racing was cool and all, but Golden Eye is where it's at. I am not really sure what Nintendo's plans are in respect to the game, or even if it will ever be availible on the Wii, but hey, heres hoping.

If I had my wish, not only would 007 Golden Eye be available on the Wii, but also that the game would be upgraded, perhaps not graphically , but in terms of ONLINE play! I am not talking about something crazy like 16 players, I just would like the ability to play Golden Eye online with up to 4 players. Ahh that would be perfect, I can already imagine campers in the facility bathrooms, setting up proxy mines and remote mines, just waiting for some online noob to stumble in. Oh yeah, life would be perfect. Shoot I would buy the Wii just for that game.

Gamespot profile

Well I have finally decorated my Gamespot profile.  Today I added a banner and profile picture.  It looks pretty decent too.  I think I will probably leave it like this for awhile.  I have kind of went with a half life 2 theme for the whole thing, although I did use a photo from the new Brothers in Arms game because it went well with the theme.  Okay off to play some more Half Life 2.
