You can forget it if Im gona read every post for this topic, but I recon why soccer (or football) is so popular is because its sport and acting all rolled up into one show! "AAArgh you banged into my knee!" (Ooops theres the ball) Low and behold they are up on their feet again playing in two seconds!! haha! Comes on you yellows!
Probably true mate, but with sooo many threads opened is a few minutes Im sure there will be many re-iterated many times and for many years to come. Ive only just joined so apologies if someones said what Ive just said also :P :)
Might be best to do a number of things. I used to work for PC World and when it came to graphics cards there were alot of things to take into consideration. Wont list all of them but age of pc and which graphics card slot you have (AGP/PCI-express) where the main two we came across. If you can find a reputable store go in and have a chat, if they sell them whole have a peek inside and see what it looks like! You can sometimes get a graphics card too big for the computer if your updating and easily forget about cooling it! Also for graphics card reviews I beleive 'Tomshardware' was a good site to look at (sorry not checking atm) I currently have an old p4 HT 3.2 with 2 or 3gb memory and an nVidia 9800gt, seems to work well, even though I have to ask my brother how to update it (he is the expert when it comes to the software) Hope that helps! x
I myself have had anything from old zx spectrums to new pcs. (And something before the zx spectrum called a battlestar or similar if I can remember back that far) At the time of the internet I had an Amiga and spent many a night round a friends looking at the (then) awesome graphics they could produce. As time has gone on I have had a few consoles and a few pc's, but I think both will be around for many years to come! You arent gonna see consoles disappear because in my opinion they are designed to deliver the best graphics and playability at 'that time' but I do feel the pc has so much more to offer in the long run. Consoles will be coming out bigger and better, but soon will be outdated. A pc has a longer life span more upgrades available for memory, storage, graphics, even change the processor/motherboard etc etc, you just can have an old playstation 1 and add to it like you can a pc. I havent owned a console (apart from the one in the attic) or used one for a while so I cant be too sure on all the technology coming out nowadays (and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) but I cant see me using a console again unless its for either nostalgia purposes or a present to give to a friend/family. Pc's are gonna be my future unless anyone can come up with a good arguement for a console that I can update regularly (I'll take it in writing please :P ) Disclaimer: > This is just my view and please make your own minds up where you wish to lie. PS If they ever bring out a machine that doesnt crash and does the same as a pc without all the problems please let me know! (Apples excluded sorry) x
