OK it says CPU in two places so I'll just list em both. Right across from the video player under CPU it goes up to 30 that I saw, then the other one is at the bottom and it lists CPU usage at around 70% - 90%

Whenever I play a DVD on my PC the sound is choppy and the video slowed down. This only happens with DVDs, anything already on my computer plays fine. I've tried increasing play speed, resetting drivers, updating drivers and enabling/disabling HD. The only thing that works is a system recovery, but that's a pain in the arse and deletes all my settings. Is there something I missed to do? Is it a hardware problem or a software problem? Thanks for your replies.

P.S. I'm on XP not Vista
