So I was thinking of selling my origional model ps3, how much do you think I could get for it from Gamestop, Ebay, etc?

my ps3 runs perfectly fine, the only problem is the fan runs as loud as a hairdryer. It is spraying out cool air out of the vents on all sides but the noise the fan makes is unbearable. I just need to know if there is any way for me to solve this problem. Would doing a system restore do the trick?

So today I fixed my YLOD and heated up the motherboard and applied lots of thermal compound but my playstation's fan now runs extremely loud and gives off a vaccuum like sound. I only started it up once and everything was fine but the sound gets so loud its almost scary. Is this normal and will the fan die down or am i headed straight back to where i started and it'll break? All help is appreciated, thank you.

so if I have a YLOD ps3, I can't backup my HDD even if I put it in one which is the same model? So I'm doomed?

well I just beat the game yesterday and I noticed that a lot of the achievements/trophies like killing and skinning 18 grizzlies, getting all of the treasure, finding all locations, and killing each of everyanimal type can actually go by pretty quickly. I spent about a day doing the rest of this stuff, now I wonder if I should start another playthrough...

If I switch the metal casings on each PlayStation HDD, would I be able to use my old 60gig on a new slim model without a problem?

How much can I get plus is it possible to use my old HDD from my broken ps3 onto a new PS3Slim with no problem if I swtich the casing?

Well, I'm not going to shell out $180 for Sony to send me a new stupid ps3 after I lost my origional a couple days ago to the YYOD. I've done my research and this website looks really really legit and got my hopes up. Has anyone ever used this before and would you share your opinion? I agree about the visuals, but i had a lot of fun playing the beta, so mag is now a day one buy.Racer850

Well where do I start? MAGWAS one of my most anticipated games of this new year, until I played the Beta. I was so dissapointed, the game is mediocre visually, lackluster gameplay, and doesn't bring anything new to the FPS genre that all of us failthful PlayStation gamers hoped. 256 person multiplayer is not going to save me. I'd rather play RFoM multiplayer over this anyday. I will not be reccomending this game to anybody after the truth within was revealed.
