[QUOTE="MrGeezer"][QUOTE="Snugenz"]Yeah, this. The people who like it can buy it, the people who don't like it don't have to buy it. End of story. I think the fear is that if enough dumb consumers buy into it, its could effect other consumer products as well. Microsoft has already shown how profitable it is to remove full premium expansion packs and free map packs and replacing them with Microtransactions (disc locked even). This could get much worse with their new schemes. What you describe already happened before the involvement of us at Microsoft. Spreading misinformation is not right.Even though the X1 and the new systems MS have in place are quite frankly shit, the amount of fanboys trying to play the victim card or even worse, moral outrage (as if anything MS is doing is immoral or evil) are just laughable.

A game library they never paid for? It's wrong? I think your missing something sir.I don't care what the reason is, taking away someones game library is just wrong.

As I said above, the 360.Close this thread. Th article was upadted:
Well that was quick. According to @XboxSupport1 the original tweet was intended for the Xbox 360, not Xbox One. While this would not be the first time Xbox Support said something in error, it would also not be the first time they revealed something before it was ready. I personally hope this was a simple mistake, but that leaves a burning question in my mind. What about all the other tweets?
mayceV@Jeffrey_Jue There was some confusion here. That tweet was intended to refer to downloadable games on the Xbox 360 actually. ^AD

Don't jump to conclusions guys.
Africa and Asia are third world countries?Well we've been discussing about prices and policies of consoles, games and services... most of the time it's obvious we're referring to rich countries (CA/US/EU/AUS/JPN) where consumers can afford to pay huge sums for their entertainment and hobbies.

But has been anyone curious about what's the situation in 3rd world countries? Places like latin America, Africa, Asia, India, Middle East, Russia(not sure if 3rd world)... etc
I mean lately their economies started growing and emergin and many are predicting that in the near future middle class in those countries will be the majority but let's forget about that... this topic is not about economics.
What I wanted to ask is if anyone over here is from those regions, can he share some experiences he had when he tried to keep up with gaming? Or anyone else that knows anything about prices or policies on internet, consoles, games or anything that is related with gaming?
Feel free to post articles, statistics, graphs or just plain experience stories.
