i got the 3 red rings yesterday and was pissed(4th 360)anyway i called support and they asked the usaul trouble shooting things, then they asked my something i never heard if i had it pluged into a surge protector?i said yes and they said that could have been it,as it takes power away from the sytem?is this true?actually i have two cords with protctors plugged in togther,360 in the main one ,so i started it up again and it works now.then i plugged it into the direct wall no probs so far...should i still send it in?SHOEGOO
Actually a surge protector actually can prevent unstable voltages thus decreasing the risk of the RROD unless you have a very cheap or faulty SP
