i got the 3 red rings yesterday and was pissed(4th 360)anyway i called support and they asked the usaul trouble shooting things, then they asked my something i never heard if i had it pluged into a surge protector?i said yes and they said that could have been it,as it takes power away from the sytem?is this true?actually i have two cords with protctors plugged in togther,360 in the main one ,so i started it up again and it works now.then i plugged it into the direct wall no probs so far...should i still send it in?SHOEGOO

Actually a surge protector actually can prevent unstable voltages thus decreasing the risk of the RROD unless you have a very cheap or faulty SP

M$= fail

Hi, despite I wanted a Wii before, I ended up buying a 360 with Halo 3, and it is awesome..... but I have some questions:

  • If the power supply says 175W and the manufacture date is in November 2007.... are there chances I got a falcon?? (I don't have the box because someone brought it from the US to where I live, it's the Arcade version).
  • What games do you recommend (I think I'm gonna buy DOA 4 first but maybe you can help me a bit)
  • Should I get a HDD??

mario_128gc

Buy COD. and Get a HDD.

I had a wii and sold it because it just collected dust next to my 360.

Nope nothing is wrong your 360 caches up the game data in its memory so that there are not constant laod times from acessing the disc.

It'd turn out like Soldier of Fortune.blue_tape

Not necessarily if it is backed by a good developer and is not rushed(like SOF)

[QUOTE="callen3"]I haven't seen the newest movie, but how fun could it be being a one-man-army. That idea has been played to death.Tsunami23

We are talking about RAMBO(said in a very loud, manly voice) here; it's different.

When you're pushed killin's as easy as breathing. lol
