Jared Hess, the man who wrote and directed the cult favorite Napoleon Dynamite, is coming out with another movie: Nacho Libre. Jack Black plays a Friar in a Mexico monestary who must don a mask and become a Luchador to save an orphenage.

I'm not ordinarily a fan of Black's work outside of School of Rock and Heat Vision and Jack, but this looks like a winner. Jared, his wife Jerusha, and School-of-Rock writer Mike White all contributed to the writing of this movie. It has been a while since a PG-rated movie has looked so fun. Jared's sublime directing creates understated, but effective comedies for all ages to enjoy.

I just might break my rule of no in-theater movies and see this one with my wife.
