So, eight years ago the best Castlevania game EVER came out.

What's up with that? As I have played Castlevania Adventure (GB), Harmony of Dissonance (GBA), Symphony of the Night (PS), and Circle of the Moon (GBA) it is very clear to me that Symphony is still the benchmark I use when playing or evaluating a Castlevania game.

The music is incredible, the visuals are stunning, and the overall concept/experience is second to none. Story has never been a particularly storng trait for Castlevania. Every game's story is merely a convention to get a particular character into a particularly nasty castle with a particular name. Nevertheless, Symphony of the Night was the way to do it!
