A lot of people hate him because he's incomprehensible and viewed as a pothead. Oh yeah cause metal fans are known to never do drugs... My favourite vocalist is probably Troy Sanders from Mastodon, he's really developed his clean(ish) vocals in the past couple records but still pulls out his harsher stuff from before.
That doesn't have to be the case. Some games do come out before the launch of the console.

Assassin Creed games are traditionally launched in November BTW.... so why would they change it up all of a sudden? I'm thinking it's because of the PS4 launch Well AC3 came out end of October as well so it could just be following that trend. They could be avoiding having their sales disrupted by other big games coming out in November as well as possibly being cannibalized by Watch Dogs
Beat it the first time today and it's awesome, saying this a long time DMC fan as well. Combo system allows for crazy long combo's that look sweet as hell. The new Dante is different but still a fun character. The story, while a tad predicatble, is much better than that of any of the other DMC games. Beat it on the hardest difficulty that is availible at the start and it's not a big challenge at all, though replaying now on the 4th of 7(Son of Sparda) and it's considerably more difficult. The PS3 version does seem to have some technical issues though like audio glitches and texture pop in during cut scenes, there is supposed to also be the occasional fps drop but I never experienced anyting noticeable.
I don't know if I'd call myself a hardcore fan, though I've beaten all the previous games. I really like this new one, I like the rebooted Dante and the world, the combat feels fluid and fresh yet still feels like Devil May Cry, albeit with more juggling. Digging the music too, some nice prog-ish metal going on. Â I really can't understand the hate behind the game, yeah the original designs for the new Dante weren't the best but they've tweaked it and he looks pretty good now. I seriosuly think all the poeple whining about this new game are just closed minded DMC fanboys all upset cause Dante has black hair now, the gameplay is as good as ever and that's what matters.
Mind you I personally think DMC 2 wasn't that bad(story was stupid but it's DMC that's pretty much a given), and that 4 was the worst in the series so with that combined with me liking this game I'm probably considerd a lunatic on this board.
Drake for sure, he influenced the personalities of close to 1/3 of protagonist this gen. There's a reason Nolan North has been casted as Drake ripoffs so much this gen.

Those 4 are on PC(MotN will be soon) and are better on PC without question. Only really Fable, Trials and Forza count as true exclusives that really help the system and that's a stretch too for Fable. I'm not saying that Fez or Akai Katana are bad(never played them) but they won't help sell the system at all. Halo 4 looks pretty awesome though so yeah 360's got that.
