Manic Miner, Attic Attack, Dizzy on the Specky 48k back in the mid 80's. I actually got a hand written letter from the Oliver Twins with a photocopied map of the entire game world of Dizzy with cheat codes and everything from them! God I loved that egg with red boxing gloves!
I really enjoyed the beta, I wasn't going in expecting any game changing mechanics and had a good blast. Looking forward to the final release and I'll be picking up a copy fo sure!
Looking forward to playing through fully, have had on preorder for ages now. Also Friday off work to enjoy completely seemed like the best approach, a perfect snack of gaming genius always goes down well!
Have to say January is a bit shit, post holiday blues, although been playing Battlefiled's online Multiplayer which I have never given the time of day before. I was solidly a COD man however on the purchase of my new PS4 before Christmas I thought what the hell and bought BF4 and Ghosts too. If you have never jumped into Battlefiled you need to give this a go, some time to get used to the squad based tactics - there are lots of tutorials online to help you get used to this. Once you have this down it's a great experience, totally different than COD and January is the perfect time to give it a try! Do'nt go into it thinking it will be just like COD as you will be disappointed, I know I was, however you need to work at it, if you put the time in you wont be sorry!
Great thinking behind this project, if you are serious about gaming and the price point is placed correctly I think I would pay the subscription to have a top flight gaming PC in my home. It would need to be equivalent to a mobile phone or Sky subscription service circa. £40-£80 a month maybe with a steam subscription incorporated within that cost too?... After having a gaming PC in the past the best memories where stunning graphics and flexibility of installing a variety of components. The worst memories were state of the art games that would start to judder to unplayable degrees because I didn't have a beefy GPU or latest CPU to cope properly with the requirements. Sounds like a great idea though, I would defiantly be interested. Design of the product is also fucking sweet! :^)
Hopefully it will have GTA5, missing this game since upgrading to PS4, sold my PS3 :'^( Also would be good to know the broadband requirements, I suspect you might need a healthy pipe to stream...
@cam2345 @garysingh34 - That impressed me the most! We need to send some Buckie to America and get his co hosts to drink some, also a care pacakage of Taytos
