the Sager NP2090 is better since you can choose a faster Santa Rosa (top of the line) Laptop processors (i.e. T7X00 series) Your Laptop only has 1 Gb of memory (though its upgradable) and 8600M-GT is better than your laptop's 8600M-GS (since the chipsets are different.. AND the Sager Laptop has 512 MB of graphic memory, compared to your laptop with only 256MB.)

meh.. not to argue.. simply to clarify. It comes with two G's mem.. (1g is thrown in for free with the one given standard) as a promotional. Read the red. As for faster pro. You give a starting at 1300 for several different types of processors starting from 1.8. so I cant really tell. but 2.0 is pretty good.. :) And as for Sager, personal experience has not been all that good with said company or warranty, though your experiences may be different. I agree that the GT is better than the GS in only that 256 is standard G, GS and GT is 512 agreed. Also your Sager has a brighter lcd compared to mine.(though dont really care as I pnp my 24 lcd at home to game) I wasnt trying to compare or beat your system.. lol only suggest what I feel was a good buy for me. The Sager is a good buy.. IF you like Sager. I however do not and stand by Asus from previous purchases and excellent support. The two sagers I have bought and later repaired have given me issues in the past unfortunately. Though this was quite some time ago. Sager kinda like a bad mmo start for me.. :) maybe they better now.

meh.. either way.. both good buys

heyo.. just cause I am feeling nice today.. :)

I just bought a couple of these systems recently and having a complete blast on them. They run every game in my arsenal withought complication or low frame rates.. most all games on high or highest settings. It is truely a wonderfull BEAST for the price.

Medieval Total war II, Company of heroes, S.T.alker (to many dam dots) X3, all on max (without shadow.. who needs anyway) at 35-40+ fps or higher.. I DID however wipe the disk and install Vista 64B intead of the 32B crap that was on it. It does come with an extra Gig of ram for free to = 2G total.. and the box can upgrade to max 4G, 2Gx2 stick. (important as many notes only allow for max 2g)

This is the BEST deal for the money atm that I could find.. and the 8600gs is no slouch of a card and is NOT hardwired or sautered (spelling) in.. at least not in my two rigs.

with the money saved from the shiba.. buy a tastefull 24' widescreen lcd.. and your gaming strong.

Asus warranty for 3years cant be beat.. it dies.. rma it.. get a new one.

once you know.. you newegg..
