Good morning, everyone. I've been reading some user reviews and guess what I found out: Ppl aren't objective! Ok, no big surprise, but in my view if you make a review you should (just as GameSpot ;)) try to be pro. They use the GameSpot Rating System and so should you.
So, should your rating differ much from the GameSpot, Metacritic or at least average user rating, ask yourself if you're really objective. It's no help if you had the fun of your life with Backyard Wrestling and you very much recommend it and for everyone else it's just a pain in the ASS. I admit there are individual likes/dislikes and over/underrated games but only to a certain amount.
The LAST time (hopefully) I refer to my Ridge Racer Unbounded Review, as I know no one is reading this, but if you were you'd be already annoyed by it. I disliked it very much and thought 6.5 would feel ok for me. BUT 6.5 according to GS would need "significant problems" which are not there. So 6.5 is impossible. So if you rated it 9.0 (which I saw here) it should be "well suited to new players" (there are better, easier racing games to start with) and "naturally uncommon" (as uncommon as Call Of Duty) with "outstanding quality" (speaks for itself). He obviously never read that.
Be smart, stay critical.
Have a nice day. :)
