The original looks better. It had heavy atmosphere and a great style. The new version looks kind of sterile by comparison. The lighting just doesn't look right to me. It's like they sucked all the color out. And the lack of icing effects outside really ruins the immersive feel of the original.

Got 2033 a year or so ago, and just picked up the original version of Last Light for $5 on Steam. Glad I didn't get these new versions.

@Thanatos2k Exactly right. Also, there were too many consoles at the time and the pc market was starting to take off. There were many factors, not just one game.

It's still laughable that people think ET is the worst game ever. It's not even the worst 2600 game. Karate and Pac Man (2600) were FAR worse.

They also blame the entire 83 crash on ET, when Pac Man (2600) and too many consoles on the market were also contributing factors.

So much for AVGN's crappy movie!
